End of Key Stage Assessment Results

Early Years Foundation Stage
Throughout the Reception Year the children are assessed against the Early Learning Goals.  At the end of the year we report to the parents, local  authority and Government on their level of attainment.
The excellent provision in our small Foundation and Year 1 class ensures that they make an excellent start to school life.  
 
In 2015 100% of pupils reached a Good Level of Development.  (National 61%)
 
Year 1 Phonics
Towards the end of Year 1 children do a Phonics Screening assessment with their teacher.
In 2015 83% of our pupils reached the national expected standard.   (National 77%)
 
50 % of pupils in Year 2 retaking the screening reached the expected standard (National 64%)
 
Year 2
At Key Stage 1, our Year 2 children (7 year olds), are expected to achieve a level 2b or above.  This chart shows our attainment levels over the past two years.

Five of the pupils in Year 2 2015 were at Trenode for the Foundation Stage Assessment.

Two pupils  joined us in Year 1 and two pupils joined us in Year 2.
